Employee well-being and professional development initiatives, bike lanes, more than 2,000 solar panels that help reduce environmental impact, and a comprehensive waste management program that recovered 48 metric tons of recyclable materials in one year are all part of AFZ’s sustainability strategy.
With 27 years of experience, the business park maintains high sustainability standards that create value for the 37 multinational companies operating within its facilities and benefit more than 15,000 people who work in the free trade zone. AFZ’s leadership in the services industry is driven by its “3P+I” strategic model, which connects People, Planet, and Prosperity through Innovation.
AFZ currently has more than 2,000 solar panels installed, which generated 452,332 kWh of electricity last year, a 14.52% increase compared to 2024. These efforts are complemented by energy-efficient lighting systems, water-saving technologies, and a comprehensive waste management program that recovered 48 metric tons of recyclable materials.
Sustainable mobility is another key pillar of AFZ’s strategy. The business park encourages the use of electric vehicles by providing 11 free charging stations throughout the free trade zone. It also features an extensive network of bike lanes and offers 99 electric-assist bicycles for employees. In 2025, the bike-sharing system recorded 3,070 users and 48,226 rides.
